In my own words

I am a translator, interpreter, teacher and linguist. I have developed my natural language skills as means of communication in different industries and work environments. Among my work experience you can find:

• language teacher

• content creator: text books and social media

• translator in varied topics such as: the environment, osteopathy and physiotheray, cosmetics, psychology, hospitality, business conferences and more

I an continuously updating my knowledge and language skills. As member of ITI (Institute of Translation and Interpreting) I adhere to its code of conduct and quality standards. As well, I expect these same standards from our collaborators. Among my achievements are:

• degrees in Languages at Universidad de Granada, University of Edinburgh, Mount Holyoke College, and Universidad de Almería

• academic and professional qualifications in linguistics and translation and interpretation, and completed numerous courses on translation, interpretation and in my fields of interest

• belonging to the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, Translators without Borders and Empower Amsterdam.

Soy traductora, profesora y lingüista de formación. He desarrollado mi talento natural en lenguas como medio de alcance y difusión de distintas industrias y entornos de trabajo. Entre mis experience laboral se encuentra:

Payments made online are made in a secure manner and we do not need to know the banking information provided for payment, which remains the responsibility of the bank or of PayPal. If you have provided us with your bank account details (RIB or IBAN), they are kept in a secure manner in accordance with the standards of the GDPR.

2. Use of information, confidentiality and disclosure to third parties

Textures collects the information collected on our sites. All the information that we gather is used only for internal purposes, among which could be:

• To perform services 

• To inform you about new services  

• To send out mailings

• To conduct market research 

The information collected will never be sold, exchanged, transferred or turned over to any other company for any reason whatsoever, except in the case of an official request from the competent authorities in such matters who must conduct legal investigations on unlawful activities, presumed fraud or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations against our conditions of use, or when the law requires that we provide this information. This does not include trusted third parties, like our website builder [HYPERLINK] that help us to operate our website, implement or modify our management program or conduct our affairs, as long as these parties agree to treat this information as confidential. 

3. Protection of information

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the security of your personal information, based on recommendations from the GDPR text, with which we are in compliance. We may also use encryption to protect sensitive information that is communicated online. We also protect your information offline. Only service providers who need to do specific work (for example billing or customer service) have access to identifiable personal information. The computers and servers used to store identifiable personal information are kept in a secure environment and these service providers are under confidentiality oath as well.

4. Cookies

A cookie is a block of data which, although it does not allow users to be identified, is used to record information about how they browse the website. Cookies also improve access to our site and identify regular visitors. This use of cookies is in no way related to identifiable personal information on our site.

For the purposes of internal and fiscal management, we automatically retain your data for 5 years plus the year in progress. It is our statutory obligation to keep these personal data during this period, but after this period these data will automatically be erased from our servers. Textures takes measures in order to keep (any) loss of personal data, a data leak, to an absolute minimum. If, despite all the measures taken, a data leak nonetheless occurs and your personal data are lost and serious damage can be expected to your privacy, we will inform you of this without delay.

You may unsubscribe at any time and will no longer receive information about our services by sending an email to haveaword@texturestranslat.es with your details, including `revocation of permission´ in the Subject. Until it is processed, you will continue to receive information about your order. Requesting an estimate, information or a service implies irrevocable approval from you to use the email address provided, as well as acceptance of our terms and conditions of sale.
